“The best day of her sister’s life was one of the worst of Bronwyn’s.”

I loved the first book in this duology, but this one rounded it all up perfectly and I ADORED IT! I love me a grumpy FMC and Bronwyn fit that position wonderfully. She gave the outside impression that she totally DGAF - inside of course she cares a lot and the outside grumpiness is her coping mechanism as she definitely doesn’t like ‘society’ - as a bit of a socially awkward girlie myself, I get that pain.

I really felt for Malik - he played his part so well, even though it hurt him to keep Bronwyn at arm’s length. Everything he went through and had to do to keep up appearances was heartbreaking. How much he cared for everyone around him made me so sad.

I loved this story and it was the perfect completion of the duology. Of course I’d love more of this world, but I loved that we got a story for both sisters.

Thank you Megan and Haus of Fables for the opportunity to read and review this amazing story!
