“For those who embrace the wave, and then every wave after.”

Ooof… that was emotional - a rollercoaster, or a rolling wave, whatever… it was emotional. That feeling of having your heart shattered, then mended, then shattered again… it stays with you. It changes how you look at the world and interact with those around you. I felt that Kristi was able to pretty accurately portray that feeling - Sam was heartbroken, and betrayed. I’m not sure I’d be as good a person as she is though, to be willing to put on a good face and be cordial with those that have hurt her so badly.
I’m glad we got a good amount of chapters from Ledger and Noah’s points of view to get their perspectives on everything that was happening, and get into their brains. Ledger’s own heartbreak at being apart from Sam, and then tragedy making him return was devastating. And Noah… oh Noah. Teenage boys are so dumb sometimes…
But everything that is meant to be will be in the end. I loved this story, it was emotional, and beautiful.
Thank you so much Kristi for letting me continue reading and reviewing this wonderful story.
